We strip your business back to its Business Model Canvas. We ask: How do you actually create, deliver, and capture value? At the heart of this is the Value Proposition. We look at your customer research and market data to define why a client chooses you over a competitor. Is it your aesthetic? Your efficiency? Your exclusive trade access? Once we define this, every subsequent strategic move must protect or enhance that value.

Step 4: Defining the Horizon – Mission, Vision, and BHAG

Once we have the data, we move to aspiration. We assist you in forecasting your aims through four distinct levels:

  1. Mission: Your daily ‘why.
  2. Vision: Your 5-year destination.
  3. Values: The unshakeable code of conduct for your team.
  4. BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal): The 10-to-30-year North Star that is so bold it changes the way you think about your daily tasks.

Step 5: External Reality – Demand, Supply, and Competitiveness

A strategy built in a vacuum is doomed to fail. We layer your internal data against the Australian industry landscape.

  • Market Demand: Where is the spending moving? (e.g., The shift toward the hybrid home or circular economy).
  • Industry Supply: Who are the major players vs. the boutiques, and what are the supply chain constraints?
  • Competitive Advantage: We define your ‘moat’. If everyone in the industry is struggling with a 5% margin and you are at 14%, that is a competitive advantage we can weaponize.
